Teresa Lagerman, Co-Founder and Head of Strategy at Condensed

Hi, I'm Teresa Lagerman.

I help founders and mission-driven organizations bring their ideas to reality through strategy, partnerships, and hands-on venture-building.

I've always been drawn to building things from the ground up, whether through my own ventures or helping organizations launch programs, products, and initiatives. Over time, I've realized I'm just as drawn to creating the environments and communities for entrepreneurs and nonprofits to succeed as I am to advising the founders and leaders themselves.

As an entrepreneur myself, I co-founded Condensed in 2012, where I work with startups and non-profit organizations to implement sustainable creative strategies for growth. That same year I launched a platform and event series focused on independent makers - Cut & Crafted ran for seven years and gave hundreds of small businesses a place to test products, build an audience and grow their business. In 2016 I co-founded Founders Workspace, a Brooklyn coworking community that doubled as an art venue and learning hub. Since 2020, I serve on the Board of the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce, where I help expand entrepreneurship and small business programming in our little corner of the Hudson Valley.

My work has brought me to billion-dollar companies like ShopMy and solopreneurs running a tiny business from a kitchen table, to art foundations or Hudson Valley nonprofits like Glynwood. The common thread: understanding what each one actually needs, then building the strategy and connections to get them there.

What I really love to do is build the things — programs, communities, platforms — that let other people's ideas take hold. I'm currently at work on a new project about career reinvention; more on that soon.
